Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos, born on January 12, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a highly influential American entrepreneur best known for founding Amazon, the world's largest online retailer. Bezos frequently ranks among the wealthiest individuals globally, reflecting his immense impact on e-commerce, technology, and media.

Bezos graduated from Princeton University in 1986 with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. He began his career on Wall Street, working at firms like Fitel, Bankers Trust, and D. E. Shaw & Co., where he rose to senior vice president. In 1994, driven by the rapid growth of the internet, Bezos left his lucrative job to start Amazon.com from his garage in Seattle.

Initially an online bookstore, Amazon quickly diversified, selling electronics, clothing, and virtually anything one could imagine.
